CurbGenie SMS Messaging Terms

These SMS Messaging Terms describe how CurbGenie (“CurbGenie,” “we,” “us,” “our”) uses SMS text messages to communicate with you, how you opt in and out of those messages, and what messages you can expect to receive. By checking the “I agree to receive SMS” box in the CurbGenie mobile app you accept these terms.

1. Program description

When you provide your mobile number and explicitly agree to receive SMS messages, CurbGenie will send you text messages related to our rental-car drop-off service. Specifically:

  • Account verification codes — 6-digit one-time codes used to sign in or verify your phone number.
  • Drop-off status updates — notifications when a Genie is assigned, en route, or has arrived.
  • Handoff alerts — PIN codes, arrival notifications, and completion confirmations.
  • Booking confirmations — receipts and itinerary details tied to a reservation you initiated.

We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.

2. Consent

SMS messaging is strictly opt-in. You consent by checking the “I agree to receive SMS” box on our sign-in screen or phone-verification screen inside the CurbGenie app.

Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase or use of our service. You can continue to use CurbGenie with email verification alone.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. Most users receive between 2 and 10 SMS messages per reservation.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates for SMS and MMS apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details.

5. Opt-out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any CurbGenie SMS. After replying STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and will not receive further SMS messages from us. To re-subscribe, reply START or re-check the SMS consent box in the app.

Reply HELP to any CurbGenie SMS for assistance, or email support@curbgenie.com.

7. Supported carriers

CurbGenie SMS works with all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, Cricket, Metro by T-Mobile, and most smaller carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy

Your phone number and SMS consent record are stored in the CurbGenie account system and used only for the purposes described above. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle personal information.
